Iraqi naphtha is known for its high quality, with favorable characteristics such as low sulfur content and high octane ratings, making it valuable in the petrochemical industry and for gasoline blending. The boiling range of Iraqi naphtha usually falls between 30°C to 200°C, making it versatile for various applications. Light naphtha boils between 30°C to 90°C, while heavy naphtha boils between 90°C to 200°C.  The production and export of naphtha play a crucial role in Iraq’s economy, despite the challenges posed by infrastructure needs and global market dynamics.
